Personally, I think blogs and online journals are kind of goofy. Why do people feel it necessary for the whole internet to know what they ate, or how they feel about that really cute boy/girl they saw at the mall while looking for a trendy shirt at Hot-Topic? (Yes, you read that correctly -- I just made a blatant generalization there.) Anyway, let's face it, the internet doesn't give a crap. It's too busy digging holes, or whatever the internet does.
So, right. This is a little picture I whipped up of Mario and company, al a Super Mario Bros. 2 (Or Super Mario USA, pick your poison.) I really like the total deviation it provides from the rest of the series.
Oh, just in case you were wondering, the reason that all the characters are simply different shades of a base color is my nerdy way of tipping the hat I'm not wearing to all those NES game designers that had absolutely pathetic color palettes to work with while doing game art. I have a HELL of a lot of respect for anyone who can make a identifable, much less likeable, character using like 30 pixels, and 3 colors.
And yeah, I realize I used this description as a bit of blog. This is where you consider me unfathomably witty, and add this picture to your favorites. Go on now, it's not hard.
ive been playing just about every mario game i have non-stop since i got home for break. peach is so hawt, i think she likes me but i dont know, i should ask her friend toad <---blog
aye, sean. Very very nice work. I like luigi's expresion / pose the best. Sort of looks like he got distracted or something and is looking off into the distance at something invisible...kind of the look that pixie gets sometimes. Mario seems that he's trying to figure out what his bro is looking at, while still maintaining his bad ass pose. Peach has only one thought in her head, "My name is Peach! I wear a pink dress and I'm pretty!" and toad ... there is no hope for toad and his annoyingly high voice.

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
